Prior to Cubera, Kjærnes spent 18 years in Nordic private equity. He established Argentum in 2002 and was Managing Director until February 2006. In Argentum, he was responsible for investments into 17 Nordic private equity funds and built this Norwegian fund of funds from inception to a leading player in the Nordic private equity industry. Before Argentum, he was Partner at Kistefos Venture Capital and CEO of Stormbull.
Kjærnes holds a MSc in Managerial Finance and Engineering (civilingeniör, industriell economi) from University of Linköping, Sweden. Jørgen Kjærnes founded Cubera in 2006. | |

Prior to Cubera, Gutzen spent five years as fund manager with the largest Nordic private equity investor, Sjätte AP-fonden (AP6). Before Sjätte AP-fonden, he was CEO at Maxitech Elektronik AB and venture manager in the Swedish venture fund AB Traction and co-founder of Leipzig Rail Service GmbH (LRS), Germany´s largest independent railcar maintenance firm.
Gutzen holds a MSc in Managerial Finance and Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe (TU), Germany and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. Till Gutzen joined Cubera in 2006.

Prior to Cubera, Ianssen spent four years with Nordic private equity through Argentum Fondsinvesteringer. In Argentum she was part of the investment team, evaluating 13 Nordic private equity funds. In addition, she was responsible for Argentums extensive toolbox and the company's PR activities.

Prior to joining Cubera, Ekestubbe spent five years at Skandia Life Insurance where he worked as a Portfolio Manager, Private Equity. Previously, he worked two years for the French Investment Bank CAI Cheuvreux and nine years at Ernst & Young in Sweden, UK and the Channel Islands. He received his Audit Practicing Certificate in 1996.

Prior to Cubera, Daasvand spent 8 years as VP Finance at Moss Maritime AS. He participated in, and worked on an MBO from Kværner ASA in 2000, and the later sale to Italian Saipem Group. Previously, Daasvand worked two years as financial contoller in Kværner with responsibility for the shipbuilding division. He has expatriate experience form Gibraltar and Russia.
Daasvand holds a BA Hon (siviløkonom) from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. He is currently working to complete a Master of Law at the University of Oslo, Norway, and expects to receive his Masters by end 2009. Axel Daasvand joined Cubera in 2008. | |
